ASAP - The American Syringomyelia Alliance Project, Inc. An American website. The forum on this page provides advice from people who have this condition, they can offer advice and support.
ASBAH the Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. This may not be relevant to everyone but for me has been a help. Before the surgery for chiari I never had hydrocephalus - now I do.
conquerchiari - Another American site. They provide support and advice. They have been extremely kind and let me use some of their pictures.
Chiari Support website - This is a British website with a support forum. The people who post on the forum all understand this condition and are very supportive and helpful as either themsleves or their family have been through the condition.
chairione - Another American site. They provide a lot of information about the condition.
The Ann Conroy Trust - are a British based charity, they have links to specialist neurosurgeons who have an interest in chiari.
The Chiari Institute - This is a website based on the worlds first hospital that specialise in chiari and related dosorders. There are some very helpful and supportive videos on their page.
neurosupport - are a charity based in Liverpool. they provide information and support on a wide variety of neurologicacl conditions.
My doctors- I've not been an easy patient this last year but I appreciate their knowledge and support and not giving up on me.
